A little history, Oscar de la Hoya was born on February 4, 1973, in Los Angeles, Mexico is a U.S. boxer was released in the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games, winning the gold medal in its category.
On March 5, 1994 De La Hoya won the World title Superfeather WBO (World Boxing Organization) winning the fight by knockout in the tenth round against Bredahl.
On July 29, 1994 to face Jorge "Looper" Paez won the WBO lightweight world title in 39 seconds by KO.
De la Hoya is credited with 10 world titles in six divisions.
Is currently retired and has emerged unscathed from the sport so hard to compete at the highest level. A great fighter who will be remembered by all.
